Mandjar Speakers
Started in early 1999, Mandjar Speakers has steadily grown into a warm, friendly and supportive club, whose focus is to improve members skills in the art of public speaking. With positive feedback and a friendly environment-working at your own pace, our members steadily grow and develop the competency and skills needed for successful presentations.
Along the way, we add other important self-development benefits too, such as:
Leadership Skills -Toastmasters is an excellent venue to develop these skills and supplies many opportunities to step up the ladder and put them into action.
Confidence Building -As you tackle various challenges and learn to make different types of presentations, you grow in skills and confidence. An added benefit of this program, it just happens along the way!
Making New Friends - As we listen to our members join in our Tabletopics Sessions and present their Speeches, not only do we learn of their many and different hobbies, talents and interests, we learn about them too. Toastmasters is a great place to socialize with others of many varied backgrounds and skill sets.
Fun - Yes, Fun! Though it could be seen as a serious topic, Public Speaking and Making Presentations and Speechwriting afford many humorous topics and occasionally hilarious outakes! We also practice including humour in all our presentations and even making deliberate humorous style speeches!
Meet New and Interesting People - One never knows who one will meet at a Toastmasters Meeting! Our membership is diverse, including people you may not meet within your *normal* group of friends and acquaintances. Many lasting friendships begin at local Toastmasters Clubs.
Visitors are more than welcome, so if you feel that you will benefit, join us for an entertaining evening of speeches, presentations and fun!

Toastmasters' Mission
